Job Seeker Services – Steps to Get Registered

Step 1: Orientation
Attend an orientation at one of several locations in the County, including locations in Taft, Ridgecrest, Delano, and other outlying areas.

Step 2: Intake
After orientation, make an Intake Appointment. Bring your California Identification or Driver’s License, Social Security card, and your most recently filed tax return or pay stubs with you to the Intake Appointment.
The intake appointment may last up to two hours. During this appointment, your needs will be assessed and supportive services may be offered if needed.
Step 3: Follow Through
Follow through with your employment or training plan. You’re on the road to a new life!
